Storm Cleanup FAQ
Do you do storm cleanup in Tumwater, WA?
Yes. Lawn Boys Landscape clears branches, storm debris and downed trees and limbs in Tumwater, then hauls it all away. We also work in Olympia, Lacey, Tenino, Yelm and the rest of Thurston County. We're family-owned and based at 9607 Old Hwy 99 SE in Olympia, a short drive from Tumwater. The on-site assessment is free.
What does your storm cleanup include?
Branch and debris cleanup, downed tree and limb removal, haul-away, leaf cleanup and gutter cleaning. Everything leaves with us, so nothing sits on the curb. If the storm also left standing water, we can look at drainage while we're there.
Can you remove a tree that came down in my yard?
Yes. We remove downed trees and limbs and haul them off. We don't do tree climbing, so we work from the ground.
A tree or limb is tangled in a power line. Can you help?
Not with the line itself. We don't do power-line work, so stay well back and call your utility first. Once the line is clear and safe, call us and we'll clean up the rest.
How soon can you get out to my place after a storm?
Call the office at (360) 701-1399 and we'll talk through timing. We're open Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 8 PM. You can also email office@lawnboyscompanies.com.
Do you work with my insurance company?
No. We don't handle insurance claims or paperwork. We clean up the yard, and you deal with your insurer directly.
My Tumwater yard floods every time it storms. Can you fix that?
Yes. We do drainage and grading work to move water away from the house and stop it pooling in the yard. We'll look at it in person and give you an estimate. Cleanup handles the mess. Drainage handles the cause.
Do you help with ice and snow after a winter storm?
Yes. We do de-icing and light snow plowing for driveways and walks in Tumwater, Olympia, Lacey and nearby towns.
Do you clean up after wind storms in Thurston County?
Yes. After a wind storm, Lawn Boys Landscape clears blown-down branches, limbs, downed trees and storm debris across Thurston County, including Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Tenino and Yelm, and hauls it all away. We're family-owned, based at 9607 Old Hwy 99 SE in Olympia, and have worked in the area since 2014. Call (360) 701-1399 or book a free assessment.
A tree came down on my fence or across my driveway. What can you do?
We remove the downed tree and limbs from the ground and haul them away, so the driveway is clear and the fence line is open again. If the fence was damaged, we also do fence repair and new fence installs, so one local crew can handle both. If the tree is touching a power line, call your utility first; we don't do power-line work or tree climbing.
What do you do after an ice storm in Olympia, Lacey or Tumwater?
We clear ice-broken branches and limbs, remove downed trees from the ground and haul the debris away. We also offer de-icing and light snow plowing for driveways and walks, and gutter cleaning if the storm packed your gutters with debris.
What should I do before your crew arrives?
Stay safe first. Keep well away from any downed power line and call your utility if a line is involved. Keep kids and pets away from hanging limbs and leaning trees, and don't try to cut up a large tree that's under strain. If you can, let us know about gates, parked cars or anything else that affects access. Then call (360) 701-1399 or email office@lawnboyscompanies.com.
Do you haul away storm debris?
Yes. Haul-away is part of every storm cleanup. Branches, limbs, cut-up downed trees, leaves and other yard debris leave with us, so nothing is left piled in your yard or on the curb.
How do I book a free assessment after a storm?
